Boat is sick. Best wake with alot of weight and no wedge. Nice wide wake so you can still go huge and land wake to wake to save your knee's.

LOVE THIS BOAT! We ride it without the wedge although we have the power one for surfing when needed. We added plumbed sacks in the trunks and lead pop-bags in the front and for minor adjustments.The wake is wonderful, the handling is terrific. I love the heated seats, the only complaint I have is about where they put the heater hot tubes. The driver is warm and that's what matters, but it would be nice to be able to warm some others as well :)

there are no words to describe the interior feels like your riding in some type of european luxury car this boat gets a lot of attention and you can always see it from across the lake the wake is awesome with a good transition its reliable and not as pricey as an MC. Best boat ever thanx Malibu

I have driven and riden behind them all. Hands down the best boat in every way. Cheaper than the MC and the Natique and way nicer inside and out. Just traded in a 2000 VLX on a 2007 VLX and was amazed at the way my 2000 held it's value. Can't go wrong

I just bought this boat. I have already taken it out 6 times and every time gets bettter. not only does the boat kick ass in every asspect, people cant stop looking at it. Thanks to the malibu dealer,bridge city water sports(wilsonville or.).

Simply amazing, This is the best boat I have had the pleasure of riding behind. Im in the Minnesota pro-circuit and my girfriend is in her first year. From advanced riders to beginners, this boats features and performance are out of this world. I previously owned a mastercraft x-2 and though a very nice boat, nothing like my malibu!

The best Boat ever. Fill the rear and middle tanks, drop the wedge, and you'll get a wake that will launch you higher than ever. Fill the front tank and pull the wedge and you'll be able to jump out double the width of the wake. Double ups are like a vert ramp, throw you easily higher than you ever imagined. Great for surfing too, just fill the tanks on one side, drop the wedge, and pile all your friends on, and you'll have a waist-high wake with a curl to it. By far the best wake ever ridden.

Insane boat, huge wake right out of the box with stock ballast. Add some of your own and get rid of that wedge and it's even better. handling is great, stock prop leaves room for improvement though.

Nice rampy wake with the wedge up and ballast full. Put the wedge down and it gives it a peaker wake. Like all the room in the boat. A real eye catcher for sure. Handles great, better than most direct drives. The only bad thing I noticed is it sucks a lot of gas with the wedge down.

my family just bought an 06 vlx its the sickest boat i have ever ridden behind and i ride behind tige 23v and 24v's all the time its clean i recomend this to any one who wants a real boat.

I had a chance to bum a ride off a friends boat and all I could say is wow. There should be a 6 rating just for this boat. Interior and dash is like a german sports car. There is so much storage room I could fit in one of the side compartments next to the engine. The boat drives like a dream and the wake is beyond what I needed it to be. The boat is pricey, but seems worth every cent. Know I need to figure out how I can afford one.

My 06 is on order and arrives the beginning of Feburary. I sold my 03 VLX that was awsome, tried the 06 at the factory and had to have it. Huge wake, smooth thick ramps and with the power wedge down it adds a kicker to it. Like all the crome trim and the new cruise control. Tons more storage than the 03, due to the ballast now being under the flooring. I have driven alot of other wakeboard boats and nothing compares in my opinion. I really like the malibu ispec and all the color sequence options that you have to design your wake machine with. Malibu great job, I can't wait until my boat arrives.

This boat is sooo sick! I test drove the Xstar,X10, super air natique, and the lightning c4. The Xstar handled like crap and took on water over the bow with just a little chop. The super air felt too small inside, and the other two didn't even come close to the VLX. Without a second thought I bought the 06' VLX. The wake is so sick you don't even need to put the wedge down. Very spacious interior and just a perfectly crafted boat. Whoever designed this boat is a genius!
