2006 Mastercraft X-45
You cant deny the X-45 is a fiberglass house of style. From the SuperFly bow to the diamond transom at the rear, the 45 delivers on all fronts. Featuring hard contoured lines amidst a bevy of billet, weve shaped the 45 perfectly on both top and bottom. Blending the design spirit of marine guru Peter Granata with the front-edge graphics work of Nemo Design, the X-45 offers an amazing array of aesthetic options. Utilizing a unique amidships step in the hull which allows for a water-pushing wake, the X-45 sits in the sweet spot at speeds below 24 mph. Proving once and for all, it has a nose for fun inside and out.

This is hands downs the best 24' boat I have ever ridden. The combination of the 8.1 L 450 HP engine, 90 gallon gas tank and huge ballast capacity make this the best boat I have ever owned. I've ridden other 24' boats and the surf wake on this boat trumps them all. It is massive, even without 10 people in the boat or additional ballast. When wakeboarding behind the X-45 you only need the ballast tanks half full and you get a huge, clean wake. As for taking on water, you'd have to literally be trying to take water over the bow. This boat rides high in the water and its rough water ride is superb. I have been more than happy with my purhcase and would recommend this boat to anyone.

Fun boat. The handling was okay, not as good as I thought it would be like. A lot bow rise and the boat turns slow at slow speed and the bow takes in a lot of water even on calm days. Glad I test drove it first. X-star is better a ride, but I think I will test Malibu and Correct Craft too.

This boat is HUGE. With 13 people on there, you still feel like there is room. The wake acts weird. Unless you have people in the bow it washes over. The wake is steep and huge though. It will def. launch you when even going wake to wake. In reference to s goody's comment on you can't have people in the bow, he does not know what he is talking about. Ive driven this boat plenty of times with 6 people in the bow and not dunked it. But then again i know how to drive a boat.

This boat is the best large family or friend boat on the market. try to fit 12 or more people on any other wakeboard boat and your on top of each other. for the size it also handles extremely well with the upgrade LQ9 Caddy engine. We have had ours since June 2005 and have over 140 hrs in december 2005. We have used it hard with only one bad computer glitch that was fixed easily. Overall a Great wakeboard boat with a killer wake that will send you to the hospital if your not careful....experience talking!

Takes forever to get on plane and another bus turning boat. Can't put weight in the front unless you really like taking on water.

this boat is the sickest boat ever. its huge so you can get tons of ppl out on it. the wake is giant and its amazing for wakesurfing bc the wake is shoulder high. you cant beat the size of the wake and the shape is beautiful. the seating is 18 ppl but it does 12 perfectly which is plenty. the only disadvantage is that its bad for beginners. if you want a huge wake, sick boat set up, and mastercraft quality this is your boat.
