2005 Mastercraft X-7

Great boat overall. I will buy an X15 next year for the following reasons. First, I don't like the low freeboard because it's too easy to fill the bow with water. I would like a bit more room in the bow as well. There is very little storage in this boat and the V drive takes care of this. If you are a combo ski/boarder then this is THE boat for you. If you only Wakeboard, Mastercraft has better options in the same price range.

This Boat Kicks Ass Drives like a Ferrari with the MCX Engine. Although The wake is smaller it is crisp and has a great Pop.

ITS HARD TO LIKE THIS BOAT. IT IS A SKI BOAT AND PRETTY MUCH A POOR ONE AT THAT. I HAVE HAD SO MUCH PROBLEMS WITH THIS BOAT WHERE DO I BEGIN. WRONG PITCH PROP WAS ON IT, ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS, THE ONE PHAT SACK DIDN'T WORK, THE BILIDGE PUMP WAS NOT WORKING, SPEAKER IN THE FRONT WAS DAMAGED ON PICK UP, AND THE SHOWER PUMP WAS PUT ON BACKWARDS SO I WAS TOLD. WHY BUY THIS BOAT NEW, JUST BUY MINE. SORRY MASTER CRAFT TRY AGAIN PLEASE..

This boat is awesome. I just got it this year and I have been behind it 8times this year everytime has been great. I wakeboard and water ski so when you fill the ballast you have a killer crisp wake to board behind then when you take all the ballast out and move the people to the upper part of the boat you have a nice smooth wake for water skiing. I had a mastercraft prostar 190 So I had a big change there and it was a great boat for water skiing but not wakeboarding so I usually went behind my friends. I like wakeboarding more but if you do both like I do you will love this boat it is very comfortable and looks very slick especially when its in the waterso I give this boat a 5 it is great.
