2005 Mastercraft X-2
The treasure trove has been located. It's a supremely-shaped wall of water left behind from the X-2, creating a liquid playground that's the archeological equivalent of the Lost City of Eldorado. The X-2 has been golden since it first cleaved the best wake in the industry at the X Games, Vans Triple Crown and MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour. For 2005, the icon of the wake generation gets updated instrumentation, a bold new graphic look, a new JL Audio sound system and swiveling board racks that can only be found on an MC. About the only thing we didn't plunder was the wake. Simply golden.

Got my X-2 new in 2005 before they spoiled the look in 2006. Riders say its the best wake they ever rode - just like the sales manager said - and he was a former pro. Many say the yelow w/black package is the best looking boat on the water and I agree. It rocks. I give it a fiver.

This is a sick boat. Everything in this boat is perfect for the begginer rider to the most advanced. Balast fills within five minutes and is great for big air great pop off the wake while no balast is great for just messing around. I highly recommend this boat.

All things considered, This is the best boat on the water for wakeboarding. It doesn't have quite the turning ability of a Nautique, or the size of an X-Star, but it fits nicely in between. The wake is awsome. It's not as steep as Nautique, which is good, and it has a rock solid ramp. When you count design, comfort, and fit and finnish, this is the boat.

The wake behind the X-2 is big and rampy with the factory ballast tanks filled, add a few friends and they become gigantic! Tons of power with the MCX 350 hp vortec engine. I reccommend Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro. J.L. Audio ROCKS this boat, solid tower, pivoting board racks are great! Best boat I've ridden behind!

The wake is really well shaped, not a steep wall like nautiques, not as flat and rampy like malibus. The wake gives you awesome pop. Interior is very nice for the serious boat it is, the tower is really sturdy and the swiveling racks are great. One thing is that it needs weight up front. Demo this before u buy a supra, malibu, or centurion. You won't be dissapointed

Ran it for a month straight with no problems. Best cross over boat on the market. One securely, well built ride.Overall the right choice for our family. Oh great service and commitment from the dealer clinched this purchase. Unlike the Nautique dealers.

My best friend just sold his mastercraft to get a Nautique. The boat is pretty nice, but the quality is a little shaky. We put the same amount of weight in our boats and his ended up with stress cracks down the side. The wake is nice, but lacks the crisp feel of the nautique wake.

The X2 is an awesome boat with an amazing wake. IMO it's better than the X-Star by far and it's cheaper.
