2004 Malibu Wakesetter VLX
Wow! That is the usual reaction to those that drive the Wakesetter VLX. Rock solid handling, perfect speed control and just flat out comfort and luxury. The rider's reaction is a little more explicit when he encounters the huge, well-defined ramps that launch the world's best riders including World Champion Darin Shapiro and Dallas Friday. The VLX is the official towboat of the Just Ride Pro Tour, Wakestock and Boardstock. The VLX uses every bit of it's 21 feet to accommodate passenger's stuff and envelope them in luxury. The Wakesetter VLX is standard with a rear MLS and mid ship MLS. The Wedge 23 is an option to boost the factory-installed weight to an equivalent of 1900 lbs of ballast.

2004 Malibu Wakesetter possibly the best malibu boat ever. the last vlx of what i believe to be the best hull shape ever.

I have been riding now for 12 years. I've ridden behind every boat out there and this is hands down the best bang for the buck boat ever! I am a big fan of the Super Air as well, nice wake if you feel like dropping an extra $20,000. I now own a Malibu and it's been nothing but perfect since day one! Go big or go home!!

Hate this boat. Has gone through 2 motors and was going to get it's third. Drives like a big rig. Takes for ever for the boat to get on plane and has huge amounts of bow rise. We traded for a Nautique 210 Team. My advise by any other boat but this one. Also service at the local dealer was horrible. Malibu paid for us to haul it 300 miles away to get it worked on.

This is the sweetest boat I have ever owned and it's a lot of fun having the hottest wakeboard boat on the delta!

These boats are one of the hottest boats out there. If you add about 500 pounds of ballast and drop the wedge this boat throws one sick wake. It was intimidating the first few times I hit it. The ride is very tight and all around I think this is the best v-drive on the market.

I HAVE AN 04 VLX THAT IS THE BEST RIDE I'VE EVER DRIVEN OR BEEN PULLED BEHIND. IT'S WELL WORTH THE MONEY FOR THIS WAKE/ CHIC MAGNET!!

SWEET BOAT! GREAT WAKE, HUGE AND RAMPY. TONS OF ROOM FOR PEOPLE AND THIER GEAR. TONS OF POWER AND HANDLES LIKE A DIRECT DRIVE. LOOKS GREAT IN THE WATER AND IS THE BEST BOAT I HAVE EVER HAD AND I HAVE HAD A SANGER, OLDER MALIBU AND SKI CENTURION. JUST DON'T BUY IT FROM SALINAS VALLEY MARINE IN CA. AND YOU WILL GET EVERY THING YOU WANT OUT OF WAKEBOARD BOAT.

I've riden all other wakes and this one is the best except X-star. It handles better though, but mine has broken down 4 times in one summer.
