2010 O'Brien Vice 141
O'Brien invented the wide-board category more than 10 years ago with the now legendary Phatty and continues that trend with the Vice. The Vice's massive width allows the board to be ridden 5-6 cm shorter than most other boards, reducing swing weight
for more pop and easier spins. The board's angled, molded fins work in conjunction with its full-length step down rail to provide a mellow but consistent edge to the wake, while the DELTA base reduces drag. Once there, the board's width does the work,
and the deep double concave hull softens the landings.
The Vice also excels for riders preferring higher boat speeds where its width provides a stable platform, huge pop, and soft landings when taken into the flats.
