polarbill made a post in this thread: Upgrading alternator on sanger v210
Looking at the 6 series Balmar again I don't think they actually have one that is a bolt in place for the Mercruiser mount. You can probably use their 1" foot mount alternator but would need to fab up some bushings to make it work. You may also ...

You probably have a Delco 7si. We stock it under part number 19020609. It is a common hyster alternator as well. The brand new oem Delco shouldn't be too much so I would say go that way rather than buying a rebuild. I think we sell them for ar...

polarbill made a post in this thread: trailer jolt
This might be a case of a problem similar to the other poster. There is a shock absorber in the actuator that I believe helps dampen the sudden changes whether going forward or backward. Check the fluid level and this shock.

polarbill made a post in this thread: X80 Duramax
I wonder if a 4cyl yanmar like this would work in the smaller boats? It only has 180hp but 350#'s of torque. I have no idea what the price is though. [url]http://www.yanmarmarine.com/theme/yanmar/uploadedFiles/Products/Engine-files/Pleasure-E...

that is interesting. MB and Tige dropping PCM in favor of indmar recently. Will Nautique be the only company using PCM at this point?

polarbill made a post in this thread: Boat trailer jumps under breaking
Isn't there a shock or spring that helps the brakes operate smoothly? I wonder if that is bad and causing the herky/jerky action?
