Oh, I get what you're saying. I've actually played with the idea of swapping out my TMF-2 to a Futures A6 fin. I rode that on the Soulcraft skimmer and it performed well. It is a lot more low profile. I'll probably pick one up and try it on this...

phathom made a post in this thread: New Shadowbox Competitor at $200
I can't really see any real use for recreation, maybe for competition for stuff like big air competitions to accurately track time and height. Other than that, ummm, I don't know. You have too much money and want to slap sensors everywhere?

phathom made a post in this thread: "The Gental Giant"
With the misspelling of it, I read it as "Genital Giant" I was like, we need a NSWF tag here people! Giant genitals going around.

phathom made a post in this thread: Craftsmen Threw Bolt sockets.
I have the original one before Craftsman decided to make them, Gear Ratchets. They are amazing. Everything is really solid, you have more torque. You don't have to worry about shallow and deep sockets. There are a few downsides though. -lack of ...

[QUOTE=scuba_steve;1898592]I'm thinking Nick with Chaos had the first skimboard offering a Futures fin box. Also the TMF-1 and TMF-2 are not the most ideal skim fins. Both fins have a depth of 2" which is deep compared to the typical 1"-1.25" dept...

phathom made a post in this thread: looking for a pull delta area
I've actually been meaning to post a similar thread. I'm down in Discovery bay like 2-3 times a year for about a week at a time while my wife visits family. Anyone be willing to give me a pull (surfing preferably) while I'm down there? Just got ba...

phathom made a post in this thread: tow beater
Well it's not primer... Also with how rusted it was when I started, and how much it costed me (under $30) to do the whole truck, could really care less about a clear coat of any kind. The beauty of it is that if/when stuff happens to the paint, i...
