petrie141 made a post in this thread: Good starting point for proper weighting for wakeboarding
[QUOTE=CTXxRoss;1823149]Ok yall.... I am wondering what a good starting point for weighting the boat with ballast is. I have 2 500 pound (I think they are about that weight, the guy I bought the boat from threw them in) ballast bags. I am thinking...

petrie141 made a post in this thread: Old boats will no hours??
We're about to get a 99 Malibu Sunsetter vlx with only 450 hours on it. I know that's not an incredibly low number, but compared to everything else we saw on craigslist, it was a newborn.

Thanks for all the feedback! I ended up calling a dealer and asking what they would give me for mine. It turns out they were very close to what I thought i could get for it on my own! Now it's just up to the boss lady, lord knows what she'll say. ...

petrie141 made a post in this thread: How does your board length stand up to your body height
I'm 6' 2" 200# and have ridden anywhere between a 137 and a 144. To be honest, I can't tell the difference between my 141 premiere and my 144 faction... whats a 3 cm difference to an amateur like me??
