The award recognizes Tige’s excellence in product development, branding and stimulating industry enthusiasm and conversation within the water sports industry. What makes this award particularly special for Tige is the fact that not only the dealers were allowed to cast their vote, but for the first time ever a panel of industry experts took part in the voting.
As industry leaders Tige’s "2012 buzz" began with the introduction of the best surf wave in the industry, the Tige Z3. The Tige Z3 was announced as the official boat of Transworld Wakeboarding, WakeWorld.com and Wake9.com. Rick Correll, President of Tige Boats was selected as a top 'Mover & Shaker" by Boating Industry Magazine. Throughout the summer the "buzz" continued as Tige introduced the revolutionary MyWake Global Challenge.
When asked about winning the 2012 WSIA Buzz Brand of the Year award, Designer and Marketing Director Daniel Gutierrez commented, "It’s great to be recognized by our industry for bringing new and innovative ideas to the market.
