Centurion is proud to announce Todd Gaughan as the new Wake Surf Director and Wake Surf Pro Team Manager. Gaughan’s first assignment with Centurion was to take over Centurion’s signature event in 2010, the World Wake Surfing Championships and later he founded the World Series of Wake Surfing on behalf of Centurion, which is now the qualifier to the World Championships.
In recent years, Todd has been a vital resource working with the Centurion marketing division and has demonstrated great success in event organization and promotion. Rick Lee, President of Centurion said, “We are so pleased to have Todd with Centurion in this additional role. With the increased popularity of wake surfing, his in-depth knowledge of the wake surfing scene will be a tremendous advantage for Centurion.”
With plenty of experience handling athletes, Gaughan will lead Centurion’s team of the most decorated Wake Surfers in the World. Gaughan said, "These riders, this brand, these boats; this is the best of the best and the leaders of the industry, I'm just stoked to be part of it.” The Centurion Pro Wake Surf Team holds a combined 11 World Wake Surfing Championship titles; including Bri Chmel (4), Keenan Flegel (1) and Drew Danielo (6), along with even more national titles.
