The fourth edition with unique contest format, international pros and even more prize money
Friedrichshafen – On Saturday, 28 September 2013 the Cash For Tricks event during the Interboot International Water Sports Exhibition will return for another year. Working together with the tradeshow, German wakeboard pro Nico von Lerchenfeld has progressed the event again, and has invited a number of riders to join him. From Germany, Steffen Vollert, Manu Rupp, Tobias Michel and rookie Max Balser, who locked down the only wild card for the event at Check-In @ Wakesport, have already confirmed. Brothers Mattias and Jeremia Hoppe (SWE), Lior Sofer (ISR) as well as the French riders Antoine Allaux, Hugo Charbit and Louis Mistaudy are also on board. 21 wakeboarders in all will be invited - in the next few weeks, several more big names will be announced.
Just for this event, Sesitec will install a System 2.0 on the Trade Fair Lake. The deluxe contest setup comes equipped with a kicker and a creative jib feature from UNIT Parktech.
Innovative Contest Format & 5,000 Euro Prize Purse
In the qualification round a total of 21 riders will battle for one of the coveted glass cylinders for the CASH during the final. The top nine riders will then battle for the public’s favor – because they, together with experienced judges, will determine if and how many bills each rider will earn for a run. The rider who makes the best impression on the audience and MC Clint Liddy will find his cylinder stuffed with a whole bunch of cash by the Monster Energy girls.
Afterparty in Club Metropol
In the evening, Club Metropol in Friedrichshafen will host the Cash For Tricks Afterparty to the sounds of a surprise DJ. Enjoy an exciting mix of Hip Hop, Electro Tunes and selected mashups, as well as drink specials from Monster Energy.
Friday Open Session
On Friday, 27 September 2013 motivated shredders have the chance to ride the setup alongside the pros, show off their own skills, and score some choice prizes from O’Neill and other partners.
