LOS ANGELES, CA. – Shaun Murray and his company, 3:13 Productions, are proud to announce the release of Wake M.D. (Mobile Detention), the ultimate wakeboarding instructional app for the iPad.

Four time World Champion Shaun Murray is one of the most successful athletes in wakeboarding. He runs The Boarding School, the ultimate training camp for riders. In addition to his training camp Shaun’s released two of the most successful video series in the sport of wakeboarding, Detention and Detention 2012. Using his proven techniques and experiences, Murray’s now created the ultimate iPad app training tool, Wake M.D.

“With the portability of the iPad, it’s kind of like having me right in your boat!” Murray says. “Short of coming to The Boarding School in Orlando, there is no shorter road to massively increasing your trick list. I want people to double their trick list!”

A rider can watch a lesson, take a run, come back in the boat, review the lesson again and take another run. The application, in short, allows riders a highly methodical way of learning new tricks.

“We’ve been testing this for a while and believe that riders will grow really fast with Wake M.D.,” Murray continues.

Over 80 tricks and tips are cataloged in the app. The application gives riders a complete learning experience, from getting up through your first spins and inverts all the way through the most complex moves. There is something for every riding level. The iPad download of Wake M.D. is free and includes a number of tricks with the download. Riders can then download additional tricks as their skill level allows!
