Szebasztian Szolath

Szebasztian SzolathSzebasztian Szolath is a Ronix Red Bull wake park pro originally from Hungary. He's been spending more and more time stateside over the past few years. He was in the Philippines this winter when he, unfortunately, broke his collarbone. He recovered in Budapest and then returned to Florida and spent a whole month at Lake Ronix helping out with the construction side of things for their 2018 team/product shoot.
When Szebi wasn't working, he was riding and shooting. In addition to riding at Lake Ronix, he went up to Valdosta for their Yard Sale event. The rest of the video you see below was filmed in Orlando and Christmas, Florida. Check out our eventful month and all the shredding that went down!
WW: Was this your first time at Lake Ronix?
SS: Yes
WW: Was it your first time living out there?
SS: Yes
WW: Who all were you living with there?
Szebasztian SzolathSS: Bratt from Ronix, Brad Smeele, his amazing care taker, Philip Turba and Miles Töller
WW: How long did you stay out there for in total?
SS: 10-15 nights
WW: How was it to hang out with Brad Smeele and the rest of the Ronix crew the whole time?
SS: It was a cool experience being present with them.
WW: I know you knew how to operate a System 2.0, but how was this system setup differently than the old small System 2.0 setup (the one in your last video, the small front lake)?
SS: This was my second time operating and the first one was the front lake in September. At the back lake you just have to make sure your buddy gets enough speed since it's a pretty short run. Other than that, it's a video game.
WW: How does a day look in the life of Szebi at Lake Ronix?
SS: Wake up around 10, make breaky, people start to swing by, we go to the back lake usually before noon, building until 3-6, hang out at the farm house, maybe riding, paddleboarding, fishing, repeat.

WW: How was it to hand build all the new rails? What all did you learn about construction?
SS: When I arrived, most of the work was done. Boxing in and painting the rails is what I did most. Wasn't a new experience, but it was cool to team up with the "magazine heroes" I grew up looking at.
WW: What was the most memorable moment for you from the 2018 Ronix team and product shoot?
SS: Bonfire
WW: Are you coming back to stay at Lake Ronix again next year for the 2019 team shoot?
SS: I am going to be there!
WW: Special thanks to anyone from the Farm?
SS: All! I feel like everyone had a part of pushing my trip to the best one. So thank you Ronix family!
