Jamie McMurray spent Valentine's day winning his first Daytona 500 and the tears rolling down his face illustrated what a special moment it was for him. Now I'm not saying that wakeboarding the infield while the Daytona 500 race is running is the equivalent of winning the Daytona 500, but for the few riders that were afforded the opportunity to ride in front of hundreds of thousands of people, it had to come close.
Centurion has their sponsorship hand in the NASCAR cookie jar, so every year you can find them entertaining the crowd on Lake Lloyd with a small group of riders behind Centurion boats. This year's rider line up included Kirby Leisman, Nick Jones, Adam Fields, Derek Cook, Daniel Powers, Byron Johnson, Noah Fleagle and more. It's not the same as being there, but we captured some riding and some of the Daytona 500 experience on video for you.
