New partnership will highlight the redesigned 2014 Malibu model
Way back in the previous century, Malibu was the first boat company that put its support behind a little-known website called WakeWorld.com. WakeWorld and Malibu formed a partnership that equipped WakeWorld with a 2000 Malibu Wakesetter 23LSV (called an Escape back then). Fast forward to the 2014 model year and here we are again. WakeWorld and Malibu have agreed to make the newly redesigned Malibu Wakesetter 23LSV the ‘Official Boat of WakeWorld.’
“It’s both exciting and nostalgic to once again be able to hit the river in this beautiful Wakesetter 23LSV,” said WakeWorld editor David Williams. “It’s so amazing to see the advances Malibu has added to this boat in the 14 years since we had our first one. Back then we didn’t even know what wakesurfing was, but now with Malibu’s new Surf Gate, wakesurfing is easily accessible to any rider. However, some things that haven’t changed since our first Malibu are the top-notch quality, fit, finish and the most amazing wake you could ask for!”
WakeWorld took delivery of their 2014 Malibu Wakesetter 23LSV just last week. Not only were the colors of the boat a customized combination of white and midnight blue, but the Boatmate trailer was painted to match. Malibu even went out of its way to reconfigure the Wakesetter side logo to read ‘WakeWorld’ instead, giving the boat a unique identity that you might not even notice right away. As you can see, the entire rig looks amazing and pops right off the background.
