Country singer Jake Owen has already got three albums, a couple of #1 hits and a music video featuring him going big on his wakeboard, but the whole thing started when he learned to play guitar while he was recovering from a wakeboarding injury to his shoulder. If you were at the CIE Spring Ride last year you might have run into Jake or seen him in our Spring Ride video (11:58), so you know he's a hardcore wake fan!

In the video below Jake is out on the lake in his Malibu talking about how he grew up on the water and how he writes songs about that lifestyle. He even throws in a little wakesurfing primer and pulls off a 360 at the end.
