WakeWorld's Pro Tour Prognostication is back with a vengence! It's the contest where you can win plenty o' wake gear just for guessing the winners of the Pro Men, Pro Women and Jr. Pro Men divisions in each of the five Pro Wakeboard Tour stops.
PWT stop #1 took place on 5/19-5/21 in Acworth, Georgia and there were a lot of riders vying for the top spot with no cap on the number of entries. That made your task a little more difficult, but we made it worth your while because entrants were competing for a prize package provided by CWB Board Co. consisting of the following...
- 2011 CWB Wakeboard of choice
- 2011 CWB Bindings of choice
- 2011 CWB Rope/Handle package of choice
Your task was to choose the first place winner of the Pro Men, Pro Women and Jr. Pro Men divisions at the Acworth Pro Tour stop. However, with a surprise first-time Pro Tour win for 27-year-old Melissa Marquardt and a first-time Jr. Pro Men win for Shota Tezuka, a lot of prognosticators were caught off guard. Here is how it all shook out...
There were 256 entries. 169 Of those correctly predicted that Harley Clifford would take the Pro Men division. That was the easy part. Only eight of you bet on Melissa to win and only two of you bet on Shota to top the podium. Luckily, for our winner, he was in the minority in both cases and ended up nailing all three winners to take the win. An impressive feat considering the odds again him. The winner was Hunter Brack and he chose a setup that includes a CWB Transcend, CWB AA bindings and a Proline LGS handle and line!
If you didn't win, you've got three more chances. Our next Pro Tour Prognostication contest is already underway for the Colorado Springs Pro Tour stop that will take place on 6/10-6/11. Click here to get entered now!
