2011 Pro Tour Prognostication - Final Round

Pro Tour PrognosticationWakeWorld's Pro Tour Prognostication was back for 2011 with a vengence! It's the contest where you can win plenty o' wake gear just for guessing the winners of the Pro Men, Pro Women and Jr. Pro Men divisions at the Pro Wakeboard Tour stops.
The final stop of the Pro Wakeboard Tour took place in Nashville, Tennesse on 8/27-8/28 and there were plenty of riders trying to get on the podium. That made your task a difficult one, but we made it worth your while because entrants were competing for a prize package provided by Ronix consisting of the following...

  • 2011 Ronix Mana wakeboard
  • 2011 Ronix Kai Open-Toe bindings
  • 2011 Ronix North handle
  • 2011 Ronix R8 80' mainline

Your task was to choose the first place winners of the Pro Men, Pro Women and Jr. Pro Men divisions at the Knoxville Pro Tour stop. Since Raimi Merritt won her first-ever Pro Tour stop, it threw a few people for a loop and, as a result, very few guessed all three division winners correctly. In fact, we only had two entrants that picked all three division winners correctly. Here is how it all shook out...

There were 314 entries. 139 Of those correctly predicted that Harley Clifford would take the Pro Men division, with 86 incorrectly opting for second place finisher, Phil Soven. Only seven of you bet on Raimi Merritt to win the Pro Women division while 175 of you bet on Amber Wing to top the podium. Finally, Daniel Powers received 127 votes of confidence while last week's winner, Shota Tezuka, grabbed 60 such votes. Since we had two entrants pick all three winners correctly, a random drawing between the two determined the winner of the Ronix package.

That does it for our Pro Tour Prognostication for 2011. Thanks for participating! Click on the following links to check out the final 2011 Pro Wakeboard Tour Standings, 2011 King and Queen of Wake Standings and 2011 Jr. Pro Men Standings.
