Wakeside.com is pleased to announce the addition of Acme Propellers. Acme is currently the OEM supplier to Calabria, Correct Craft (Nautique), Gekko, Malibu, MB Sports, Sanger, Ski Centurion, Ski Supreme and Tige. Their CNC process propellers are quickly dominating the wakeboard boat industry having won the OEM spot with most wakeboard boat manufacturers.
Acme's CNC process provides the most accurate method for consistently producing propellers to the correct diameter, pitch and cup, etc. This method of production, relative to hand-finished, translates into Acme Propeller perfection, and the elimination of one big variable in boat performance. Acme propellers are engineered for quicker plane times, improved speeds and lower fuel consumption. You will feel the results, smooth operation and superior performance, from box to boat, again and again.
You probably have the wrong propeller!
Most wakeboard boats need to have their propeller changed due to adding 1000 to 2000+ lbs of ballast. Except for the newest wakeboard boats with factory ballast systems, the stock propeller simply does not have the hole shot (time to plane) once weighted down with extra ballast. The solution is very simple; change the propeller. Wakeside.com has worked very closely with Acme to specify the correct propeller for boats weighted with 1,000 or 2,000+ pounds of ballast or very high elevation operation.
Most serious wakeboarders carry a spare propeller in their boat along with a propeller puller and tools. Wakeside will offer a Weekend Saver Kit that includes a harmonic propeller puller, padded storage bag, and all necessary tools to change the propeller on the spot. Now that you can get a correctly sized propeller for your wakeboard boat, consider turning your existing propeller into your spare.
You will find a very easy to use propeller guide at Wakeside to ensure that you select the correct propeller for your boat.
