With over 450 attendees and only 500 available seats, I think you could call the world premiere of the long-awaited release from Sidewayz films, All or Nothing, a runaway success. The Carlsbad Village Theatre in Carlsbad, California hosted the new Hyperlite team video and welcomed wakeboarders from near and far with open arms.

The success can be attributed to many factors. Probably the biggest, was the appearance of the legendary Scott Byerly to sign

shirts, posters and just about anything else put in front of him. Although there was a moment of hesitation, Scott was even kind enough to put his John Hancock on a young lady's Cassette wakeskate.

Everybody was stoked to see Scott at the event and I was amazed at the number of old school Wake Tech Byerly pro models that were brought out for signatures. Scott also signed five of the limited edition All or Nothing World Premiere T-shirts for us to give away right here on WakeWorld.

Also making appearances were Hyperlite top dog, Paul O'Brien, Alliance mag editor, Bill McCaffrey, the crew from both Wakesports Unlimited locations, Hyperlite rider, Cheryl Newton and many others.

Although Sidewayz was not able to get the film fully finished by the time of the premiere, they provided a rough cut that was absolutely insane. Each of the seven of Hyperlite's biggest names, Scott Byerly, Parks Bonifay, Shaun Murray, Danny Harf, Ricky Gonzalez, Chad Sharpe and Brian Grubb, had their own sections. The reason it has taken so long to get this video out to the public is that each section has to be approved by the riders before it is finalized. They are all perfectionists, so you can be sure it will be worth the wait.

The video itself, at the risk of using a phrase I can't stand, was off da hook! Parks had some crazy stuff including the Baller, a four handle-pass 360 between the legs and a gap slider that put him about 35 feet in the air. I haven't seen anything quite that hairy since his brother, Shane, came off the side of a U-Haul into the dirt in Free4All. Apparently Parks wasn't able to land it after six or seven tries because of the extreme height. The video shows him landing on the downslide just off to the side and completely collapsing. It's amazing he wasn't hurt.

Grubby's wakeskating gets nuttier every time you see him. I swear he's got Velcro on his shoes. You'll be looking for trick photography on this segment.

Murray's segment was a bit short, but I'm told that they have more footage that they will be adding to it. It's got some incredible helicopter-view shots that really spice up the video. It's nice to see a different angle. Gonzalez and Harf also have some heli shots.

Harf has a ton of doubles and just boosts it on every one. Byerly is smooth and stylie, as always. Gonzalez definitely ended up with the least amount of footage and his segment only lasted about half a song. Apparently he just didn't get as much time in front of the camera as everybody else. Sharpe is the most fun rider to watch because he always goes balls out and rides like he just doesn't care what happens to his body.

The music was chosen by the riders and was perfect because it fit their personalities. Sometimes the predictable punk soundtracks can get boring, so the tunes were definitely refreshing. My favorites were the Sex Pistols rendition of Frank Sinatra's My Way during

Chad Sharpe's segment and Tommy Lee's cover of David Bowie's Fame during Ricky's segment.

Look for the video to be available in seven different box covers. There's a different one for each of the featured riders.

At the end of each of the two showings, the crowd went crazy when Paul O'Brien and Wakesports Unlimited proprietor, Tyler Irwin, hit the stage to give away tons of free shwag. A good chunk of people walked away with WakeWorld or Hyperlite shirts or hats. However, the big prizes were the two Byerly boards given away and autographed in person by the man himself.

As always, Wakesports Unlimited did it up right and brought the wakeboarding community another killer event. If you'd like to get one of the limited edition All or Nothing World Premiere T-shirts, give Wakesports Unlimited a call toll-free at (866) 277-5757 or visit them at one of their shops. Mention that you read about it on WakeWorld and they'll give you the show price of $8 while supplies last.

The All or Nothing world premiere was brought to you by Wakesports Unlimited, Hyperlite, Wakeside.com, Alliance and WakeWorld.
