jonyb made a post in this thread: Proper Wiring Setup
The amp shouldn't draw any current if it's not on, no matter whether it's wired directly to the battery or through the switch.

jonyb made a post in this thread: 2/0 welding wire for stereo/ do you run rev 10's on full or high?
That should be okay. You could add 1 or 2 pair of XS-808's if you have room.

That's a LOT of power on the 650's, be careful..... Run all amps on high pass, except for the sub. The SD4 should be set around 110-140hz, the towers at 80-100hz, all depending on what you listen to.

jonyb made a post in this thread: Some System Tuning Questions
If you're this concerned about tuning, I"d recommend a SMD DD1. That's a distortion detector, but at the same time requires a cd player for the test tone disc. An easy, very shortly worded explanation here is this: Start with amp gains al...

jonyb made a post in this thread: Recommendation for new head unit
I sell a lot of Clarion M303's in my shop. They have AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth/AUX/USB, and the board is coated. Also has front/rear preouts with the rear switchable to sub.

jonyb made a post in this thread: Stereo setup help
1 Syn4 should be 2-channel powering the Pro60's. The other Syn4 should power the pro485 on 2 channels bridged. The sub would be on the other 2 channels, bridged down to mono. BUT, what's sub? Single or dual voice coil, and what impedance?

jonyb made a post in this thread: Sub Amp fading out issue ?
"oh I don't want anything crazy" I completely agree Shawn. I'm amazed at the way people cheap out on small things with their installs - not necessarily aiming that comment at this thread or the OP.

I've used the Pro-Mariner as well. What Shawn recommends is a great option. Nothing beats just plugging in a cord and being done. Not having to monkey around with clips on the end of a charger. There's also a surface mount port that you ca...

Of course, the same standard answer as seen throughout the audio world - "it's never been a problem for me" Congratulations then.
