Mike Schwenne's section is insane. I think I saw a MUTE T2B. I wish they would have slowed it down.....happened kind of fast.

jarrod made a post in this thread: Towing Myth Busted-Audi
No one is ever going to admit that their precious tow vehicle doesn't tow great. You can easily spot these guys and their sensitivity by comments like "can't even tell it's back there". A sure indicator that you can absolutely tell that it's bac...

Hasn't Dowdy landed a double KGB? I think it's already been done behind the boat.

Eric nailed it. It's about money, just like everything else in this world. Wakesurfing sells a lot more boats than wakeboarding and skating combined. I can't stand more than about 10 seconds of watching surfing, but that's the way it is.

jarrod made a post in this thread: Phil Soven
Although the new comers have been nipping at his heels for years, he's still a podium contest rider. Although with guys like Cory, Harley and Dowdy landing doubles it's getting tougher. Still, Phil is mr consistent. Fall in your pass and he'll w...

jarrod made a post in this thread: rope length and speed?
[QUOTE=skiboarder;1934942]Last year I was coming off an injury and rode 55ft @ 19mph for most of the summer. I could land almost everything at that set up. Most wakeboarders are riding too fast and too long. When I see someone at 70ft going 23mph ...

jarrod made a post in this thread: rope length and speed?
Shorter rope = slower speed = a wake that is just as wide as your 75-80' rope set up, but with a bigger wake. I went from 80 feet back to 65-70 and I wish I would have done it sooner. Unless you're just wanting to go further into the flats, or y...

jarrod made a post in this thread: Surfing on Vics - Pic to explain
I never ask anyone to leave or try to lecture them on etiquette. I've never ever seen that lead to a good outcome. I don't like that one boat of surfers is okay (or just unaware) with stopping a dozen or more other boats from having great water....

jarrod made a post in this thread: Surfing on Vics - Pic to explain
Wakesurfing has a similar effect to power turning with a much further carry. Wakesurf wakes follow the boat, whereas a wake generated from a fast moving boat pushes the wake out to the shore. Different trajectory. I don't know why, but I do kno...
