jarrod made a post in this thread: New boots to help with kicker landings?
Nope. Landing soft off the kicker is an acquired technique. I found that holding speed into the kicker so that you land with more speed is the ticket. Sounds strange but going bigger is better. Absorb the landing with your lower body by squatt...

Great riding.

jarrod made a post in this thread: Asymmetric stance?
You can try it. In my opinion it's best just to ride centered stance so that you can progress to doing 180s or beyond if you wan,t and not have to worry about getting used to a new stance. Wakeboards already ride nose up, unlike a snowboard, so ...

jarrod made a post in this thread: Tantrum - backside rotation during flip (help please)
It's hard to tell from that video, there are a few things that cause that rotation. Rotating / Spinning in any scenario is cause by turning your head, moving the handle, or both. When you square up and flatten off at the wake to pop the trick,...

jarrod made a post in this thread: Tesla P100D smokes Lambo Huracan
I love smashing through gears. I love a clutch....and the sound of a screaming combustion engine. I've been in a few Teslas. While the acceleration is very impressive, the overall experience isn't for me I don't think.

jarrod made a post in this thread: Dealing with ignorant surfers?
I deal with it by never going to the lake. If I didn't have the delta to wakeboard on, I would just quit. or ride Cable 100%. There are too many other awesome sports out there to have to deal with getting up early to compete for ride-able wa...

jarrod made a post in this thread: Feet Pushing Forward on Landings
Get bindings that hold your foot in place. I've landed and crashed every way possible and my foot has never pushed forward.

jarrod made a post in this thread: Help on TS 360
Agree with Callen. And he does them switch too. :-) I look at the trick as two 180s. I come off the wake, do the 180 (think about popping it up high) I pause at the 180 position and pull the handle in close, and then do the second 180. You can...

jarrod made a post in this thread: Looking at used 2008-2010 x stars
Those boats were all pretty solid. The 8.1 big block had a lot of issues, and I think you would find the MCX motor under powered. I think they made a 6 liter that worked well. I think it was the LQ9?
