jarrod made a post in this thread: Opinions on 2016-17 Axis A20 Surf Wave
Axis just updated hulls and towers. So I don't know what you guys are talking about. I've had 6 Mastercrafts, 4 Malibu's, and am now on my second Axis. Axis is a great Wakeboard boat, although I don't know anything about Wakesurfing. And the...

jarrod made a post in this thread: Boardshorts
Now that CIRE is done with shorts....I'm a huge fan of the Volcom Slingers. Great cut, 4 way stretch, pockets, and cut the perfect length for me just above the knee. I wear them on and off the water. I like them so much I bought 5 pair.

jarrod made a post in this thread: Bigger boards landing softer?
"It's just as much "Basic physics" that a smaller boards sinks a bit more and so softens the impact a bit. " It's a speed thing. The smaller board which rider lower in the water is going to drag more when it lands in the flats.....in my experien...

jarrod made a post in this thread: Cableski Physics
[QUOTE=fly135;1958934]^In Kevin's scenario you also have to imagine the rope attached to the boat with a spring or big rubber band. The cable is very elastic or springy when you are pulling against it from the side. So when the cable pulls you u...

Allow me to step this up. My boat in 2010. It was one of two LS3 MXZs at the time from Malibu R&D. I believe Phil Soven had the other. The chicks were impressed as you can see.

jarrod made a post in this thread: Square Body Tow Rig Almost Done
[QUOTE=jonblarc7;1958566]Sorry J-rod but I don't think any stock fuel and air diesel is going to run mid 12's with just a tune and exhaust. A powerstroke 6.4 might as long as it doesn't have big tires. There just to heavy even with all the tor...

And please don't say "Basic physics". There's nothing basic about physics for most of us.

jarrod made a post in this thread: Bigger boards landing softer?
[QUOTE=CRS_mi;1958518]Basic physics. The more a board sinks into the water while landing, the more it wants to stop / slow down making the landing feel more harsh. This is where the added surface area makes a difference. The board rides higher ...
