Soven Wins Pro Title At BoardUp! Miami

Phillip Soven, the champion of the inaugural Board Up Miami pro-am wakeboard music festival is back to defend his title. The 2004 X-Games champion has been busy logging hours behind the boat and on planes as well, traveling around the world for numerous wakeboarding events. Last year he added Board Up Miami champion to his already impressive resume.

Phillip joins Shaun Murray and a host of other dynamic pros who will be competing at the IWSF Pan Am Region Wakeboard Championships for a spot into the Pan Am Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as well as the chance to ride at Board Up on Saturday March 10, 2007 and compete for up $17,000 in prize money.

Phillip will bring his trademark move, the whirly dick (backflip 720, with one overhead and one handlepass), to Key Biscayne, Florida from March 7-10.
