San Luis Obispo, CA - GraduWAKEtion is a two-day wakeboarding tournament put on by the Central Coast Association of Wakeboarders (CCAW). This year CCAW hopes to promote awareness of cervical cancer by donating raffle proceeds to cancer research. The tournament is open to local and collegiate riders from all over the United States. The two day tournament will be held on Saturday May 10, 2008 and Sunday May 11, 2008. The tournament will include days filled with competitive wakeboarding, cash prizes for winners, professional wakeboarders, live music, raffles, product giveaways and many local vendors.

Last year's GraduWAKEtion tournament was an extremely successful event. At the peak, attendance was more than three hundred observers. Alliance Wakeboard Magazine held a two page spread about last years event in the October issue. Local newspapers, news channels and multiple websites also publicized the event.

CCAW is a grassroots wakeboarding organization comprised of mostly Cal Poly and Cuesta College students, but is open to anybody around the country who loves the sport.
