All depends on boat speed and weight but my i/o's wake is clean at 75' at 21mph and around 1500# on board.

Sometimes the wake will smooth out further back with more weight. Play with where you put the weight and how far you trim the outdrive. Different combinations give many different results. We used to ride 60-65 ft with no weight before it got washed out. With 1000# evenly up the middle of the boat, we were able to trim up a little further and got a steeper wake that was clean a longer distance back. Try weight up front, in the back and evenly distributed.
