I have a 2007 Supra and Boatmate Trailer.

Anyone have good results with Touch Up Paint? I'm not looking for perfection, it's just the trailer. Looking for something to hold up.

I have a color number from my VIN. Pretty sure that's a Dupont Paint Number. F8472A.

I was thinking to head to a paint shop that could mix the color number for a small quantity. Thinking a pint?

I have an odd colored trailer so hard to find the right paint. Boatmate will sell you a spray can. I provided them with my vin number and they matched it exactly.

What color is it? If it is black, just grab universal black from any auto store. If it is an off color it is probably a good idea to have someone mix you some or just ask Boatmate for a touchup bottle

It's a Navy color.

How big are the touch ups? If they are larger spots and have rust be sure to remove all the rust prior to using touch up paint. The paint or coating is only as good as the surface it is applied to. If you use paint over rust the paint will just bubble off in a year time. My company deals with the coating industry and surface prep is everything.
