We are looking to purchase a lake house. I have been looking at lake Tawakoni because I grew up on this lake and know it very well. We have not found anything that fits our needs here so I am looking at homes on Cedar Creek Lake by gun barrel city. I have been on this lake a few times and noticed a lot of wake boats but never really noticed anyone riding. I am just trying to find out if this is a good lake to board on and what area of the lake should I be looking for a lake house? I would like something that is close to open/deep water. Any info will help.

The Guys on DWB might know more about Cedar Creek.. But from what I've heard, the wind is predominately out of the south all summer.. That leaves one protected cove for a line which is short and shallow..

Thanks for the information. I have posted it on DWB and received a few replies. Its sounding like that lake is only good at sunrise.

Dallas Wake Boarding. Its a good site for local DFW riders. The site has been a little slow lately but that seems to all water sport sites around this time of year.
