Have an aerial assult tower that came with my boat. Sick of the wiring being on the exterior of the tower but the construction of this tower is alil odd. Anyone running this tower and how did you get the wiring internal

what do you mean "on the exterior"?
that tower looks a lot like what I had on my old MB.
I had 95% of the wire inside the tower but had to run it externally coming out of the boat and around the hinge points in the tower but it didnt look too bad..

You will drill the holes where you want on the top of the tower, then drill your hole on the base of the front bar ( right above where the tower connects to the side support bar)new ones you can skip drilling but will still need a quick connect that fits inside the tower cavity, then you will drill a hole in the top front support bar and also drill a hole at the base ( above the weld).. Then locate where you want to drill thru on your hull and double check to make sure that's where you want it and that you have access inside.. Then run your wire down the tower and out the first base hole, leave excess. Now run wire thru the support bar hole and leave about a foot at the top of the support bar and the length you think you need to go inside and connect to whatever's location.. Now where you left excess ( between base and tower upper) you will put some style of quick connect... Use heat shrink where you can to seal any connection, also make sure to clean all drill holes smooth with a file... you can use grommets, any style of loom to make it as professional as you deem necessary.. Help?

Perfect pic to the Explanation Russ thanks... he will want quick connects in the "hinge" spots if he ever want to disconnect the tower, he should also be able to keep to one side unless he has a lot of wiring to do...

Great idea on the quick connects. Sorry for the stupid question. I do disconnect my tower a ton since one of the lakes I use has a very low bridge crossing in spring. I was just concerned about drilling through the connecters at the hinge

You will drill just above and just below the connector "hinge" area like in Russ's pic..
