I am new to the wake scene and need help deciding on which boat to go with for wakesurfing. Here are the details.

2002 Mastercraft - $30 000, 375 hours
hot/cold shower, stereo system - with speakers everywhere including the tower....6 CD changer.
It has 3 ballasts and is v-drive

2006 Supra Launch - $29 000, 455 hours
Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro, Gravity- ballast, Bimini ,stereo, Tower wired
for speakers, , Bow & Cockpit covers, Walk-thru Bow, Swivel Tower Racks,
Hydraulic Wake plate., Fiberglass Swim deck, 4 Blade Prop, Boat Mate custom
tandem trailer, w/ Trailer Spare Tire ..
No Showers or Heater

Please try to not be biased by your personal manufacturer preference. Which is the better value? Does either manufacturer have more issues with breaking down etc?

Thank you for your help

I'd go Supra. I don't think MC had a decent surf hull until recently with new X30 and X25.

You'd better weight them both and look at wave though before buying...

assuming the supra is a v-drive. if you dont go with the supra please send me the link to the sale. I love the wake. dont know much about x30, but older more expensive, answer seems simple to me.

the motors are both Indmar, so there is really no comparison there, unless one is carbureted. Indmar is rad, im about to tip over 1000hrs on mine.

Are you saying the x30 does not have perfect pass? thats a deal breaker for me. although very very easy to install, its still another $1500 you got to drop into your new boat. 6 CD changer is not a plus, haha
