Started with this:

a red 1996 porsche 924s that a buddy of mine owns. He invited me to do join his endurance racing team. 24 hour long road races.

Then we got this dragon, a 1995 porsche 944 enduro racer. just to have a backup in the stable.

Finally I bought this true race car. totally track prepped 944 turbo pushing near 400hp used for nasa racing.

And I still take my m3 out every now and then too

Needless to say I've been spending a lot of weekends at the track. its a completely addictive experience.

We went to Daytona back in Oct last year. A bunch of the guys got together and took the tour of Daytona International. That same day the local Porsche club was out running on the track. Gotta say, that looked like a lot of fun!

Look around Ian, there are High Speed Drivers Events all over.

The porsche DE's are fun, but nothing beats wheel to wheel racing. Even in a low HP car, coming into a tight turn at 90mph and trying to outbreak the guy next to you is exhilarating. I've never had so much fun!
