I was down at Stretch's shop today and DJ asked me to take a picture of his new board. It was laying down and I didn't want to pick it up! But this is his James new ride.

Nice lookin board! Couple novice questions: 1) it doesn't look very long for a surf style board; 2) the outside rear fins look like they are canted/angled out more than the surf boards I have been on - what are the benefits of that?

its a 5/4 and its made more like my surfboards I ride in the ocean. Then I can go surf in the ocean go back to my boat and not have to change my style and lose a beat..super lite..

Stretch is such a character he was telling me, DJ, that he's shaping the boards to fit your wake as you modify the shape of your wake. You have to love that level of customization. That board has a very prounounced V off the tail, all all of yours done that way?

yeah,I love how he works with me to find the perfect board for me and my wake..I always find ways to make the board better to do certain tricks, like that board is really good for the air reverse and 180 reverts..and the one ive been riding is really good for getting tons of air and doning snaps like surfing.the funny thing is they look exactly the same but work the opposite..yeah Stretch is a great guy..
