This is a reply I got after inquiring about a d90... the price is low and it just seems a little sketchy. what you guys think?

"Am selling off all the items in my husband's warehouse cos he just passed away and am moving out of the country. It is brand new, still in the box and contents include:

1 Nikon D90 DSLR Camera
1 SLR 12.3 Megapixel 5.8 x optical zoom with Zoom-Nikkor Zoom lens 18 mm 200 mm
1 EN-EL3e Rechargeable Battery
1 MH-18a Quick Charger
1 DK-5 Eyepiece Cap1 DK-2
1 Rubber Eyecup
1 UC-E4 USB Cable
1 EG-D2 Audio Video Cable
1 AN-DC1 Camera Strap
1 BM-10 LCD Monitor Cover
1 Body Cap
1 BS-1 Accessory Shoe Cover
1 Software Suite CD-ROM

I figured I could have it shipped and delivered to you within 24 hours but you can pick it up if you live or know someone living in Sierra Madre, CA."

She then put her name and phone number.

Any advice?

If it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

go with your gut. which sounds like it's saying don't do it. it almost looks like she pulled an "accessories" list off of a manufacturer's website

Seems ok. At least she speaks properly. She is also putting the option out there for somebody to pick it up. If it's a scam what is she going to say if you tell her you're heading over??
In fact tell her that. Tell her you have a buddy who can pick it up and see what she says.

a lot of times the seller is as paranoid as the buyer. Meet or speak, that will give a better idea.

I was thinking the same thing as Chris. If shipping is the only option then obviously a no-no but if you can go over to pick it up go for it. Give her a call.
