I have a 2000 Pro Air Nautique, what is the best prop for this boat? Should I go with stainless, of brass? What else should I consider?

Avoid stainless - too hard on the rest of the drive train. If money is no option, go with a Nibral CNC machined prop, either from ACME or OJ. Check propellersonline.com for the cheapest prices available, and they can help you get the right size for your boat.

I just installed a new prop and it made a big difference. I went from a 4 blade OJ 13x13 to a 3 blade ACME CNC 13x11.5. Much better holeshot and amazingly smooth and quiet. Of course the OJ had some dings so it's not a fair comparison.

I had someone tell me today that the 3 blade is alot quieter than the 4 blade.

Call th guys at ACME. They have a 3 blade that I use that blows the doors off my old 4 blade OJ. It is a nibral.
