Anyone had a chance to try out any of the new 2010 Company boards or bindings?

i got to see some up close at the utah boat show. seemed pretty nice, especially the heel and toe lift of the boot itself. as they have said and as the video shows, absolutely NO toe and heel lift of the boot itself... judging from a hands on test and not a foot-inside-test. the liners seemed a little thin, but just about all companies are trying to minimize the footprint of their boots and overall weight, so i can't say too many companies have thick liners now days anymore. but for those with sensitive toe bones like me... you can buy a size or two large and then get some 2mm or 4 mm neoprene socks to makeup for it (this goes for all brands of closed toes)

ohh and the freedom interface system...or whatever it is called. the metal tracks on either side of the boot in a way act like the track system that hyperlite nova cores use. but instead the track is on the boots and not the board. the boots can be put just about anywhere. pretty cool idea, and it really slims up the looks of the boot by itself

sorry i can't say more from an actual use experience

I have the Vandall boots and a 142 Severance...The board is pretty much the same as last year, minor differences and new graphics, but the boots are WORLDS apart...soooooo much better! I've never ridden velcro boots before but I tried on the LF ones a few seasons ago and wasn't a fan, these Vandalls though are great, a really good fit (although I dropped a size) and easy to get super tight. I have a long thin foot and they hold my heel in really well, with just the right amount of flex to get a good press going on rails or tweak to grabs on the boat. The FIS system is sweet too, very quick and easy to adjust on the fly!

In short...I'M A FAN!

hows the comfort on the boots? I rode Company last year for a while but like Jeremy said the liners were really thin and were not very comfortable after a while. Tough to beat LF in that respect, love their plush liners

I haven't found a problem with them yet versus my 08 Watson LTDs but I haven't had them that long...Right now they are very comfortable indeed!
