NOTICE TO ALL DOG BEACH MEMBERS

DOG BEACH NEEDS YOUR IMMEDIATE HELP!

Sadly, I must report that the economy has again taken its toll with incoming donations nose-diving and without immediate help to pay expenses,

Dog Beach is faced with closure.

Last year we took immediate action by reducing overheads, but there was only so much we could do without Dog Beach suffering. We are down to a minimum essential staff that watches over Dog Beach, so that it is safe and clean, and we are planning to cut expenses even further.

For those of you who have continued to support us - we are more than grateful and this notice is being sent to all members in the hope that you are able to assist us by sending in a donation that will help pay immediate expenses that will allow us to remain open.

Each of you have been a part in the making of this dog paradise, and if you are able to help, please go online today to "Donations" or "Renewals" and make a donation. Your donation will be entered on the database and your next annual renewal notice will be sent to you one year from now. All donations are tax deductible, and if you prefer you may mail your check to:

Huntington Dog Beach
PMB 342 - 7071 Warner Avenue, Suite F
Huntington Beach CA 92647

Words cannot express my sorrow in having to turn to you for help, and may I take this opportunity of thanking each and every one of you for supporting our incredible Dog Beach over the years where so many pets and their families have come and enjoyed the freedom they need and deserve.

Sincerely,

Martin

Martin Senat,
President HDB

WITHOUT YOUR HELP - WE HAVE NO DOG BEACH!

Why does a dog beach need staff and donations? About the only extra expenses in the dog beaches in San Diego are the baggy stations. There's no need for staff to watch over people. Every once in awhile a group of volunteers goes out to clean up, too, I think.
