I currently have a Midlander, 4000 pund hoist for my Supra and was looking to add a boat lift motor to it this year. I;m thinking about adding a direct drive unit to it since I have heard the wheel motors tend to slip off sometimes and also they are slower at lowering and raising the boat.

The one I'm currently loloking at is the sidewinder boat lift motor which comes with two wireless remote and found a place that offers it around $800. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this product or know any other products that may work better.
