Okay WW'ers needing to replace the 235/60/17 Dueler HTs on my AWD Saturn Vue... Currently got about 49K on this set and haven't been real pleased with them the last 10K miles.

So far I'm looking into the Michelin MXV4, BFG Long Trails, Michelin LX4 and a Cooper CS4

Originally I was going to go with the new Goodyear Fortera Triple Treads but got a less than glowing review from my service guy at GM as well as read a few pretty poor reviews online...

Price isn't a huge deal although I'd like to steer clear of anything over $200 per tire installed.

Any thoughts, comments, opinions? Thanks in Advance!

Personally, I've never got more than 25-30k miles from Michelins...not on an Avalon, ES 350, or my Tundra. I'l never buy Michelin tires for my vehicles again! Their MX tires rock if that helps ya though. lol
I use Bridgestone Duelers (I think 695 or 697...something like that) and absolutely love them. Easliy got 55-60k from 2 sets prior. I'll buy them again in a heart beat.

For my F-150 truck I get the most miles per dollar, good traction on wet ramps and sugar sand with good 'ole Kelly LT tires. Tried everything else and nothing works as well and they all cost more.

The wifes soccer sled loves BFG ta's. Worth the extra coin because they wear perfectly.

Tried everything on the Passat. I drive about 25K a year. Mich sucked, BFG's separated and squeaked. I have settled on Continentals and am very pleased so far. I have about 30K on this set and they still look very even and have amazing stopping power.

Every truck is different though. My buddies Dodge ate Michelin's like candy and tore up the Kelly's too. Believe it or not Firestone's worked good for him.

I too have duelers on my Sequoia. What a surprise, it looks like I'll get approx 60k out of them. Michelin's were about 50k.

I got about 60k out of my stock Pirelli's on my F-150. I was really happy with them. Just switched to Hankooks and have been happy for 2k.

Bridgestone Revo's or Revo 2's are great tires. High mileage and very good dry and wet traction. It is the only tires I will put on my tow vehicles.

Have goodyear wrangler AT/S on my Yukon. Got 59K on them(could have gona another 2-3K easily on them) - just replaced them last week - got the same ones - super happy with them. Tons of grip on the snow - and super smooth on the road, They have some v shaped nobs on the side too - so rugged looking too.

I think I'm going to go with the BFG Long Trail TA Tours. Local TS has them for $146 per.... 60K tire, 580 treadwear rating... I've had a few other sets of BFGs over the years and been really happy with them. everything I've read says they are alot quieter ride over the Bridgestones and Firestones. Not as expensive as the Michelins, but about the same ride quality.

Any benefits to having them filled with Nitrogen over reg air? Looks like an additional $40.

I've got 50k on my BFG All Terrain T/A and I expect another 20-25k out of them before I hit the wear indicator. I rotate every 6-8k miles so that really helps. I've purchased these tires on my last two trucks and when these wear out, I'll be getting another set. They corner well, brake well, and great traction in the rain. I don't do a ton of off roading but they do well on dirt trails and what not.
