I think a zip sweatshirt with the WW logo and WakeWorld under it would look pretty sweet.
I was thinking something like this, as far as the styling went.

If so, the 2nd one rules but with the font filled in black.

and the clothes...I want a black wakeworld jersey really bad...or white...actually AND a white one.

I don't see why you can't sell them all year

No voting. Logos are all the same. Just different colors.

Ben, the jerseys we did were custom with custom names and numbers on them. That's why we can't do them year round.
Old    Benjamin (bendow)      Join Date: Sep 2005       11-04-2009, 1:49 PM Reply
Yeah, I know they were, but you can make some standard jerseys that just say wakeworld rather than a name.

Just a thought though. I think the jerseys are the most wanted.

am I really the only person who wants an adjustable hat? how sad. I refuse to convert to the suburban white gangster look!!!

I know we are not voting, but I think the stacked logos look great. good work.

Regular Flexfits aren't gangster at all. That's all I wear. Flat bill is gangster. :-)

Ben, we did do some generic jerseys with the last order and they did not sell at all. I had to take a loss on them to get rid of them.

I know Dave. I was just messing around. the flexfits don't fit me right either though. no sweat.

Nope, no calendars. I just can't seem to get that together each year. Sorry.

Just saw this, and didn't want to rifle through the posts, in case I'm way behind the curve....

I personally like logos larger on apparel... A lot of the older stuff seemed to have logos that got lost in the apparel...

Prefer black over white, but it's also generic... I like BRIGHT colors, personally....

I also like the stacked and distressed

I'm with train... If I buy a hat with long hair then shave it the hats too big... if I buy ahat while I have short hair it gets to tight.

+1 for adjusting hats

Excellent work.

For the folks that asked about voting - those are all variants on a theme. One logo, one font face, one design. Stacked, stressed etc are all variants on the same thing. I like it a lot. Not a super duper departure on what we know but enough to be different.

Put that on a high quality ZIPPED fleece hoodie and I am good to go for a few.

Yeah, it was kind of hard to put in the poll. I was thinking about something with a liner in the hood. I really like this style. Not necessarily the funky seams, but the patch in front split down the middle and the different color in the hood is cool.

We'd probably be looking at a black hoodie with dark gray in the hood and a white hoodie with black in the hood. Let me know what you think about the two tone and the patch on the front vs. a standard screen print.

The Snuggie suggestion isn't too bad. Snuggie would be rad on the boat. Actually, didn't somebody come up with a wakeboarding blanket that hooks up to the heater? Can anyone remember who that is and if they have a website. It might be cool to do something like that.
Old    Greg (silvermustang35)      Join Date: Jul 2008       11-07-2009, 11:34 AM Reply
The Wakeboarding blanket that plugs into the heater is made by Mambe http://www.mambeblankets.com/boatblanket.aspx

It's a really good blanket and the hot tube plug in makes it even better they are a little pricey but they are really good quality and they have great customer service.

Dave, I like the look of that sweatshirt. That's what I was talking about in my post, the patch look on the front. Looks more rugged. I dig it.

Neon Yellow, or like a Neon Green jersey, t-shirt, or fleece hoody would be sick. Give the wakeworld logo a almost graffiti like look on the front.

I would buy a zip up sweatshirt if you offer one but I personally do not like the white sweatshirt idea. White sweatshirts look like crap after you wear them 5 times. I like just about any color better.

I would buy a zip up sweatshirt if you offer one.

Minnesota is almost always cold, just to repeat nintzel, ill take a heavy sweatshirt and i like the patch idea but the funky seams would be annoying. No really neon colors, i bought one and thought it would be cool at first then i wore it to school and felt like a moron

I vote floaty VS opener key ring.

Even Mexican beers are starting to go twist off, pretty soon a bottle opener will be a "what?"

I would definitely go with the floating key chain. I'd reccommend change the health centre insignia to something wakeworld related.

David, as far as T shirts go, Im not that concerned about logo or color, but the quality of the shirt. The super-cheap shirts you get as handouts at events and whatnot dont last. However, Ive had a couple of "branded" shirts like this that were really soft high quality shirts that I still wear after having them a couple years! Im no clothing expert nor have I ever looked at whats out there. I just know there is a difference and I really like the "better" material and would buy it. Maybe some of the clothing experts understand what Im saying and can shed light on the tech details of what the higher quality shirts are.
Old    Chris (rio_sanger)      Join Date: Apr 2007       11-18-2009, 7:44 AM Reply
I agree Jason, typical screen printed tees are usually poor quality.

Dave, if you can get to a surf shop in the San Diego area, check out the quality of these brands: Go Barefoot, and Old Honolulu.
The Quicksilver Silver edition is pretty decent as well, and Old Guys Rule is a notch below in thickness and quality, but still better than the typical throw away shirts.

Coolers would rock, and long sleeve t's. Long sleeves are the best for the early morning/late evening rides when you get out of the water in the summer.
Old    David Williams (wakeworld)      Join Date: Jan 1997       11-18-2009, 9:00 AM Reply
Jason, I'm right there with you on tee quality. If it's a cheap shirt, it will usually lose its shape and I simply won't wear it again. I plan to get good quality Hanes tagless (cuz I hate tags) for the tees, so no worries there.

Brinks, we're probably looking at black tees with a gray ink and white tees with a dark gray ink. I'll have a rough design up today and see what you guys think.

Neoprene floating keychain or a bottle opener keychain? I vote bottle opener, just not purple.

And if not already suggested, a bottle coozie would be cool for those times off the water. Especially in the 22 oz size for those big beers like at Stone Brewing. :-)

I'm hoping to start taking orders on some things this week as soon as I get a firm date on when everything will be done. I'm hoping to have the first batch of stuff in my hands by 12/15, so it will be in time for Christmas. Here is what we should have by then...

- Tees (black, white)
- Long-sleeve tees (black, white)
- Boy beater tanks (black, white)
- Zip hoodies (black)
- Flexfit hats (black)
- Flexfit flat-bill hats (black)
- Beanies (black)
- Cozies (black, red, green camo, tan camo)
- Soft coolers (black)
- Bottle opener keychains (black)
- Beach towels (blue)
