What's the best/easiest way to tell if a board has changed from year to year(excluding design).
For example: I'm pretty well set on buying a hyperlite premier with belmont bindings, but i'd like to save some green by buying a 2002 stuff rather than 2003
Thanks in advance

The board design of the 2002 and 2003 premier are the same.
But there are improvements to the 2003 belmont binding compared to the 2002.

Wuttup Kris. I think they changed the base material from '02 to '03. I'm positive that the DNA core has the Jib base (new for '03) but I don't know if the '03 Biolite has the jib base or the pure base. That's the only difference from an '02 premier to an '03 premier. As for the belmonts the overlays on the '03's are much more durable, thicker and reinforced at certain stress points where as the '02's are not.
