I am brand new at this sport and really want to get involved. However, I am 6'9" and wear a size 15-16 shoe. I also weigh about 270 pounds. I have lost weight recently and I am planning on losing more. I really want to do this and will at all cost. My height and size hampers a lot of other things, but I now have a lake house and a boat and I want to do this.

Any suggestions on boards or bindings? I have read that you do not necessiarily want to look at overall length, but to look at the actual surface that is on the water. I have really been looking at the Liquid Force Trip 146 cm.

Anyways I was just wondering what you guys and girls thought?

Thanks

The Big Fella

Thanks. I actually stumbled across this last night, after I had posted my question. I was amazed that there were so many big guys doing this.

Sorry for not looking first, but thanks for the help.

play in the nfl just like brad cottham(about the same size as you boss) and get a company to custom build you a board and bindings that suit your dimensions with all that contract money
