I posted a thread last month on my w2w problem.

For 2 weeks, I was close, landed it a few times, but really inconsistent.

I finally nailed it. 4 times same set. Then every time, next set.

I upped my speed to 23.4, 75ft length rope.

Riding a SS Response 145 now. (LOVE IT)

Awesome man. You're at the point when I fell in love with the sport.

That is great. The sport is a lot more fun once you get to that point. Next comes consistency and body control in the air.

Awesome! I too finally got to this point two weeks ago.. its funny how adjusting a few variables has such a profound effect on the riding. I went to 23mph from 21mph and it was the ticket!

It was like a switch went off. I am very happy. I landed it the first time out in the flats and was so suprised and happy I crashed cutting back into the wake, my wife thought is was funny.

Way to go man. Now do what probably none of us did...start riding switch RIGHT NOW and get W2W on your switch side as well. Don't be like me and say 'well, now I want to get a good trick before I ride switch'...cause it never ends. I didn't learn to do W2W switch until years after I started riding...big mistake!

I'm a little ahead of Abe and have been working on W2W toeside. It's a bitch. Should I be working on W2W heelside switch before that?

Good question Andy. personally I would work on ts before switch hs. Both are important, but it's good to be able to get a handle on both hs and ts before going switch. When I'm snowboarding I can't stand when people "feather" down the hill on their healside from left to right because they don't know how to turn on their toes.

Great job Abe!

You should be working on both really, no reason you can only work on one

Andy...I would work on TS right now as well...but really you can do both in the same set...not like you have to only work on 1 thing at a time. If you think TS is bad...try switch TS (I still haven't landed mine W2W this's the hardest thing for me to get back).

Yeah loren how long did it take you to learn switch ts, I just learn switch hs but I can barely get off the water switch ts its so hard!

I'm getting DAMN close. Out yesterday and can "see" & feel my toeside W2W coming. Landed several casing the wake and about 6" from pulling it off. Just a little more practice now...

... and I'll be like old-guy John Anderson some day!

Yeah man I know how you feel. I started landing my HS everytime last month and started working on my TS and switch HS and started getting them down a little bit. It really helps with how much of a beating your body takes throughout the season. I'll pretty much have to start all over again next season since I just tore my ACL last week, but I can't wait to get back out there and fall in love with the sport all over again haha.
