With the water here still a bit cold I was looking at a wet suit. Is there much of a difference between the full wet suit, and the half suit? Am I going to be warmer in one or the other?

You will be warmer in a full wetsuit since there won't be a ton of water circulating around in it.

I usually go from a shorty right to a dry suit. Never cared much for the full wet.

I kind of think like Bill. A shorty is easy on easy off and less restricting. I have a shorty, a couple of fulls, and a drysuit, and use the shorty by far the most and almost never use the full.
