R2R is a fun trick that shouldn’t be too bad to learn. Make sure you fully commit to the trick when you try it. It is better to over rotate than to come up short. Here is my best explanation:

You should start pretty much directly under the cable after a corner.
Set a short, hard edge.
Do not flatten off on your edge at all. If you try to Ollie into this trick you will not get any pop. Make sure you load the line- think of trying to stop the cable right before you release.
You should be at the hardest part of your edge around 5 ft outside the cable. This is about the point where you want to release.
When you release keep your arms in close and throw yourself into a flipping motion by looking back over your lead shoulder and throwing your feet out in front of you in the direction you are moving.
You need to throw the trick pretty hard. If you do the trick behind the boat, your body position is similar.
Keep both hands on the handle until you are completely upside down.
Once you are completely upside down, let go with your lead hand. This will turn you to revert.
Try to spot your landing and keep the handle low. Absorb the landing with your knees.
Ride the trick away holding on with just one hand.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

keeping your shoulders back, chest forward, and handle very very close will help you greatly.. yes, the edge is short and quick unlike the raley. the longer your cut, the more difficult it will be to keep the handle close... and of course, keeping the handle close throughout the trick gives most of your lift. you'll be sore but doing them a regularly will get you conditioned and they will become cake ... hope this helps!
