Hey guys,
I was looking around for a new camcorder (something that i would do for a free time activity, nothing real serious) and decided to check a couple of websites to see what i would find. I was looking around at panasonic's website, and they're advertising this camera that is supposedly waterproof(up to 5ft), dustproof, and shock proof (up to 4ft.) It's relatively inexpensive for what I'm looking for.

My question is: Is this a good camera? By good I of course mean reliable, good quality imaging, etc.

Here's a link:

No I didn't buy. nobody has said anything about it yet, but I think I'm going to hold off on buying it for a while. I first will need money to buy it, and then I need an excuse for buying it. lol.

from my understanding, the general rule is that if you're going to edit videos, stay away from cams that record to hard drives.

Read the specs this camera is a toy, The data rate is so small that it can't make a video that would be good for anything other than a you tube video, you get what pay for. A small camera on a boat, shooting hand held I'm sure would be pretty Shakey There are more options out there,Some of the point&shoot cams can shoot better video than this cam
