Ok so yesterday just as we were driving out of Disco slow water and into fast water, the board rack which was strapped with 2 boards apparently broke off the tower and into the water. For some reason none of us idiots on the boat noticed two boards flying from the side of the boat into the water until about 20 mins later when we stopped in some butter and tried to wakeboard. Luckily we have some friends that live in the house at the point and they actually noticed the boards fly off and they saw what boat stopped and picked them up as we just kept driving, it was a green and white cruiser boat, like a rienell or bayiner, with a green bimini and about 5 people on the boat. They said it looked like the boat was trying to catch up with us and follow us, but its obvious we were just too excited to get to the good water and start riding so of course we didnt notice... If anyone knows anything about this or where the boards are we would GREATLY appreciate it!!!! The two boards that went missing are an 08' Liquid Force Shane 140, and Axis 135. My fingers are crossed hoping someone can help us!

sounds like you guys learned that being in a boat is dangerous and you guys realized that if you dont see a set of boards going flying off of your rack and a boat trying to follow and flag you down your probally doing something very wrong and may cost you more than a few boards next time by hitting someone in the water or not hearing a boat about to hit you.

ya j rod i know it broke i was reffering to going 2-3 miles an hr not paying attention and seeing them fall then not being aware of thier surroundings when a boat is trying to catch them and flag them down. just makes me wonder what other stuff people dont see......

i do hope you find ur boards though

They were the original Maaco brand racks. The attachment at the tower is not that great and thats where it broke at. I dont think they make these anymore. I got a new pair of Nice racks Im gonna be installing this week.
