Wow, Cliff that's awesome! Bridge Bay is so far from Squaw Creek Arm though. Are you still planning on the same days? Does that mean you guys will be doing your own food/booze?

Renee,

We've rented from Bridge Bay for years and I have a preferred member account with them. They give me one free day and a reduced deposit so it makes it worthwhile to trek across the lake. We normally head all the way up to the end of the Pit so the Squaw is a shorter trip than we're used to.

My group wants to go the economy route this year so we're going to be doing our own food/booze ect this time around. If this becomes an annual thing we plan on going all out next year.

No problem. That just means less food for me buy. What time will you guys be up there?

We will hopefully be leaving Jones Valley by 3:00.

We'll be there about the same time. I'll be in touch prior to the trip.

For now just watching the calendar and placing an x on every day we get closer to the trip.

Okay, this "Loaf of Paquette" is going to make a good faith attempt to be there. I'll give a full report on the lake after I get back from Memorial Day.

It was good talking with you today Cliff. Stay in touch.

I will take some teaser shots from Valentine weekend. Going up to Shasta to check on my HB.

Matt, glad to chat with you and know you are in my crew.

We went out and rode on Tuesday. Water was 44 degrees and plenty of debris in it. Snow on the shore and the lake is filling.

The trip is getting HUGE with all the people that are going to join us during the week. We still have a couple of spots on the HB open but we need to hear from people ASAP if you want to come.
