I got the ronix loop handle for christmas, long story short, where my dad got it they were out of the ones with the wrap bar which was 30% of the reason why i wanted a new handle. now im back at square one, do i make my own or return this one and try to find one that comes with a wrap handle? what are the draw backs to a homemade one?

Return it and get what you want. You'll never be happy otherwise.

The main reason I shop in my local pro-shop is that I know I can walk in and exchange or have warranties handled immediately. Just something to think about in the future.
