anyone know why some guys do this? you dont see many guys ride for different binding companies than their boards so i dont understand why they are taking them off?

SOMETIMES, THEY RIDE OTHER COMPANIES STUFF, LIKE JSTAR RIDERS USE HYPERLITE, AND SOMETIMES, THEY ARE PROTOTYPES, OR WHAT NOT...

I would guess that the bindings block a fair amount of stickers on the board depending on the angle of the picture. Removing them allows for maximum exposure to the 'sponsors' of the rider.

they ususally have a minimum of two boards and they prolly jus grab the one with no bindings cuz its lighter and easier to hold up in the air

If they ride the same brand bindings as board there is no point in having them on the board as far as sponsor credit. Most get paid by each sponsor shown in a picture so they make sure the bindings are not in the way.
